This year we are again participating in collecting goods for the Anglicare Christmas Appeal.

Anglicare staff tell us that one of the things that families often struggle to afford when going through hard times is school equipment. Items such as backpacks, lunchboxes, water bottles, pencils, pens, textas and exercise books are items required for all students attending school and we all know how quickly the cost of these items can add up, but in some cases they become unaffordable.

Not to be able to send your child to school with the correct school supplies impacts not only their education but their confidence and dignity. Every year, Anglicare WA works with around 10,000 children across the state, and during this Christmas season we want to make sure that as many of those children receive the back to school supplies they need, ready for the 2020 school year.

The attached document contains a comprehensive list of all school supplies that Anglicare are appealing for. They will also accept financial donations and donations of gift cards to purchase the supplies with. 

Each day beginning next week, Ambassadors will come around to collect items from students.
