Time to Experiment!

Our new science building was officially opened by Mr Andrew Hastie on Tuesday 31 October.

This new facility will allow students more freedom when conducting experiments, with the inclusion of a state of the art laboratory and preparation area. The building was financially assisted by the Australian Government's Capital Grants Program and a State Government Low Interest Loan.

Principal Patricia Rodrigues is especially excited and proud of the new building and what it means for the students of SJGS.

"After spending majority of my teaching degree in the area of the sciences, I know how excited the Science staff are to use the facilities" Mr Rodrigues said. "It will greatly increase the range of science tasks our students are able to participate in and they are very excited to experiment and explore!".
