Secondary School

Years 7-12

Students and their teachers work in partnership to help students achieve their best.

Teaching and mentoring is provided by highly professional staff in an environment where Christian values are not only evident but guide our practice. Students remain in the same Pastoral Care Group with the same Pastoral Care Advisor from Year 7 to 12 to provide vital social and academic continuity.

At Court Grammar we offer our Year 10 students the exciting opportunity to commence their upper secondary journey with a wide range of subjects including Certificate I courses.

In Years 11 and 12 our students can access ATAR, General and Certificate Courses. There is the opportunity also for Work Place Learning in addition to Vocational Education and Training Courses.

School on the Road

An integral part of our program is called ' School on the Road'. Although this program commences in Kindergarten, in year 7 it really kicks off with the year 7 tour of Sydney and Canberra.

All students in year 7 have the opportunity to visit one of the flagship experiences as part of the School not he road program. Students travel to the nation's capital, to visit sites including the Australian War Memorial, Parliament House and Question. In addition to this experience, students spend a day skiing in the snow fields and also visit many of Sydney's most recognizable landmarks and icons.

Year 9 ningaloo-turtle.jpg

Visiting a pristine, world heritage listed, coral reef in the north west of our state is a highlight of the Year 9 program. Students have the opportunity to dive on the coral reef, swim with manta rays and turtles, get up close and personal with some massive fish and gain an understanding of a natural marine environment.

Year 11week-lof-challenge-.jpg

Students entering Year 12 will be faced with twelve months of intense pressure, excitement and emotion as they work towards their goals of : graduation; University or TAFE entry, further training or the workforce. Year 12 is a challenging year as students often have to deal with the additional pressures of part time work, the freedom of a driving license and the additional excitement of the Senior School Ball and Valedictory Assembly. To prepare students for this challenging year ahead, Court Grammar School offers its Year 11 students a unique opportunity to experience similar challenges to these, learn from them and develop their personal skills and deals with these challenges.
